Apply nowAbout Eleven
Eleven (platformeleven.io) is modern technology powering the $30 trillion private investment industry. Our platform connects individuals and institutions across the private market ecosystem and covers the full lifecycle of an investment in a single environment: fundraising, fully digital investor onboarding, compliance workflows, reporting, communications, payments, and ongoing investor servicing.
Over 45,000 people worldwide run their private investment activity on Eleven. Our clients include global fund administrators and sophisticated investment managers across private equity, venture capital, real estate, infrastructure, hedge funds, and other private market strategies.
The Role
You'll own the relationship between Eleven, our clients, and our product - in both directions - from implementation onward. Outward, you're a senior and trusted face of Eleven: understanding how clients operate, helping them increase success through Eleven technology, and helping them get more from what exists today and what comes next. Inward, you bring what you learn back into Eleven and turn it into better priorities, better requirements, and better products.
You'll report to the CEO, guide client-facing product and delivery decisions and work closely across sales, engineering, marketing and design.
You'll become one of Eleven's foremost product experts, not just knowing what the platform does, but understanding how it works, why clients use it, and where the edge cases are. That depth will allow you to confidently guide clients through complex workflows, translate their needs into precise engineering requirements, and recognize when something we're building isn't quite right.
That same expertise will shape how we communicate. Every release and new capability should reach clients in a way that builds understanding, adoption, and trust. That only happens when the person explaining the product knows it deeply.
You should be equally at home leading a meeting with the COO, investor servicing or compliance teams of a global fund administrator, spending the next two hours inside the product working out exactly how a workflow should behave, and deciding how that workflow gets explained to every client who needs it.
The scope is broad and consequential: client implementations, adoption and growth, translating client needs into product priorities, and how the market understands what we build.
Who You Are
You know this industry from the inside. You may have run investor onboarding across jurisdictions where the rules diverge, and you know which parts of a subscription pack cause problems and why. You know the difference between how a workflow looks in a demo and what happens when an administrator has to run it.
Beyond domain experience, you'll thrive here if:
- Clients ask for you by name. Trust follows you. You can sit across from the founder of an emerging investment firm or the COO of a global administrator and are naturally credible with both. You are a natural partner and trusted guide.
- You go deep on technology. You learn software quickly, explore edge cases, ask engineers good questions, and want to understand why something works, and what happens when you click, beyond just knowing where to click.
- You make things happen. You turn ambiguity into action, surface dependencies early, follow through relentlessly, and keep clients and internal teams moving.
- You are a builder. You don't need a large team, a mature playbook, or layers of support to be effective. You stay close to the work and take responsibility for the outcome.
- Your communication style builds relationships and brands. You can take a new capability and explain it to a client in their language, without marketing filler.
- You care. About the details, the client, the product, the message, and your work. You know that it's not just about getting a task done; you are someone who needs to ensure the task achieves the goals.
What You'll Own
Client Success & Adoption
- Lead onboarding, implementations, rollouts, and strategic client initiatives, and getting clients live quickly and keeping them successful.
- Become the person a fund manager's COO or an administrator's investor servicing or operations director communicates with directly and trusts.
- Monitor adoption, unfinished implementations, and underused capabilities; intervene before clients have to ask.
- Join late-stage sales conversations, where your product and operational credibility give a prospective client confidence in what they're buying.
Clients of Clients
- Work with our fund administrator clients on reaching the managers they serve, deepening usage and adoption, and driving growth at every level.
- Understand how those managers operate, where their workflows are still manual or fragmented, and what that should tell us about what to build next.
- Surface the capabilities on Eleven they may not know exist, so they get more from what's already available and know what's new.
Support, Requirements & Delivery
- Gather requirements from clients, organise competing priorities and commitments, translate them into specifications engineering can build from, and work with engineering and design through sequencing, delivery, and launch.
- Project manage client work end to end, from large onboardings through to new partner and system integrations, owning timelines, dependencies, and the communication back to the client.
- Own the support function: escalations, quality, and the knowledge centre that lets our AI tools answer accurately so most repeat questions never reach a person. You'll carry first line yourself initially, the fastest route to knowing the product and the client base cold, while building the infrastructure that scales it.
- Look past individual feature requests to the pattern behind them, and help drive the right priorities.
- Stay hands-on with features and UX, and validate important capabilities before clients see them.
- Make day-to-day product and delivery decisions independently, knowing when something is strategic or resource-intensive enough to involve the CEO.
Client Communications & Product Marketing
- Decide how a new capability is positioned, what problem it solves, who should care, what to show, and what to leave out, so that it lands with a client rather than reading as a changelog.
- Own release notes, feature announcements, and client communications end to end: quick, accurate, and in Eleven's voice - precise, confident, free of marketing filler, in the register our clients actually use.
- Direct design and marketing on which product visuals to show and why, across screenshots, demonstrations, website content, and campaigns, and own the accuracy of everything product-related that reaches a client or prospect.
- Generate case studies, testimonials, and client stories when there's something worth telling.
Represent Eleven
- Spend meaningful time with clients in person — workshops, reviewing how they use Eleven, meeting the teams behind the workflows.
- Represent Eleven at client events, industry forums, conferences and on webinars, with some international travel.
- Over time, contribute credibly to the wider conversation about where private markets technology is going.
Your First 90 Days
- Know Eleven at power-user depth.
- Own day-to-day support and escalations, with the knowledge base rebuilt so most repeat questions answer themselves.
- Take over at least three client implementations and/or relationships, including one of our most strategic customers, working with them on adopting a major implementation.
- Meet some fund managers behind our administrator clients, and some fund manager direct clients, and come back with a documented view of how they work and what they're missing.
- Own release communications: notes, enablement, and client announcements shipping on time and accurate.
What Success Looks Like
- Clients trust you and increasingly come directly to you.
- Clients get live quickly and stay successful, with strong retention and deepening adoption.
- More fund managers behind our administrator clients actively use Eleven over time.
- A cadence is established with our fund administrator and enterprise clients on getting updates out to their clients.
- Client needs move predictably from insight to delivery to adoption.
- What we ship arrives understood and used.
What You Bring
- 10+ years of professional experience, including at least five in private markets - at a fund administrator, investment manager, technology company, consulting firm or other business serving the industry.
- Deep knowledge of investor onboarding, KYC/AML, beneficial ownership, digital subscriptions, investor servicing, reporting, and related fund operations and the ecosystem that powers it.
- A track record of independently owning sophisticated client relationships and leading COO- and executive-level conversations.
- Experience owning complex technology implementations or platform rollouts, working directly with product and engineering teams.
- Excellent written communication. You'll be asked to show us how you'd explain a new capability to a client.
- Ideally based in Europe — the UK, Ireland, Luxembourg, Netherlands — or able to maintain substantial overlap with European working hours, with willingness to travel internationally.
What We Offer
- Competitive base salary commensurate with experience and location, performance-based compensation, and equity participation.
- The opportunity to help shape the technology infrastructure of modern private markets.
- Real ownership of the client relationship, the client-facing roadmap, and how the market understands our product.
- Direct collaboration with the CEO, engineering, and design in a fast-paced environment.
- Remote-first with flexible hours, a global client base, and competitive benefits appropriate to your location, employed by Eleven or through an employer of record in your jurisdiction.
- The chance to define the Client Solutions organization we need and, when the time is right, build and lead the team around you.
Hiring Process
- Initial conversation with our Director of Sales, Europe — background, motivation, and fit.
- Initial interview with our CEO — client strategy, ownership, and how you think about the product.
- A more in-depth discussion, a working session, product demo or case study tailored to your background and experience.
- Shorter conversations with other members of our team and/or key customers.
- Final discussion, references, and offer. Offers are subject to standard background and reference checks.
